Creative Assembly revealed many details about the upcoming Total War: Warhammer 3's Extraordinary Empire campaign yesterday, naming four new factions during a Q&A session with fans.
As lead designer Mitchell Heastie discusses the conditions for victory, he scrolls through a list of different goals: capture coastal areas, raze settlements, destroy factions, control provinces, etc.
When the "victory in the Battle of Domination" condition is shown, it includes a long list of factions that must be destroyed, but the four factions on the list appear to be new additions:
The Ecstatic Legions
The Fecundites
Legion of the Gorequeen
Puppets of Misrule
It's possible that these are just unannounced factions, but Creative Assembly has already announced new chaos factions, so players believe that these factions are more likely to be released as DLC.
Total War: Warhammer 3 Extraordinary Empire will be released on August 23. In Transcendent Empire, players have access to all 86 legendary lords in the Total War: Warhammer trilogy. A new "Sea Lanes" feature was added, random mid-to-late game challenges were introduced, victory conditions were revised, and more.
