A slew of flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will be released in early July, with xiaomi’s 12S series and ROG gaming phone 6 already confirmed. Lenovo’s next generation gaming phone, Legion Halo, will also be released later this year.
The phone, currently available in GeekBench, is called the L71091 and also has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM, but is expected to come in 12GB or 16GB versions.
It will also run Android 12 and scored 1,299 and 3,953 points in GeekBench single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, which is good performance, but not nearly as good as ROG 6 (1,23,4238).
The Legion Halo is expected to have a 5000mAh battery and support 68W fast charging. There will also be a 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rate display.
Unfortunately, there is no release date for Legion Halo yet. Its rival ROG gaming phone 6 is scheduled for release on July 5, so Lenovo needs to hold on tight.
